Kazakhstan Direct Reduction (DRI) Plant Project

🔹 Project Overview

The Kazakhstan Direct Reduction (DRI) Plant Project is one of the international achievements of Mining and Metals Engineering Company (MME) in exporting technical and engineering services and transferring the indigenous PERED® technology from Iran to other countries.

Designed with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of cold DRI (CDRI), this project represents the second international implementation of the Iranian PERED® technology outside Iran.

🔹 Features and Objectives

Basic and detailed design by MME’s engineering team

Reduced energy consumption and environmental emissions compared to similar technologies

High production efficiency with metalization levels exceeding 93%

A significant step toward expanding the export of Iran’s engineering and technical services

🔹 Project Significance

The implementation of this project demonstrates MME’s capability in developing and exporting advanced Iranian technologies in the steel industry and plays an important role in strengthening Iran’s position in the global steel value chain.
