- Bijar Direct Reduction EPC Project is a DRI Plant with a capacity of 1/6 million tons per year working with the PERED technology. It is under construction in Bijar, Kurdistan province.
- This project is the first ever mega module with the technology of PERED which the Basic Engineering was done by MME.
- The client of this project is Kurdistan Steel Industries (K.S.I. Co.) and the consultant is Aseh Sanat Engineering Co.
- Project construction duration is 36 months and 12 months for operation service is in the commitments of MME.
- All of the main and technological equipment are in the scope of work of MME and are all being procured from the best local and international vendors.
